Effects of stress on body and mind - use it for Stress Test

- In our Good Health, we are not interested for stress problems, because our organism (our self-regulating process system or adaptation mechanism) can care about stress and we do not know that. In that situation effects of stress are too small. We can not notice any mental and physical process, social or emotional problems.

-1. Alarm stage of Stress Response. Organism is stronger, clever, work better, better immunity, creative, efficient, focused, energetic,... Eating too much, too much enjoy in relationships, someone wish to show off: cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, sex promotion,...

So far stress effects can be helpful and it is not illness, just need more control and we can enjoy in stress (Eustress).

From here, stress is not so pleasant and can be harmful.

-2. Resistance stage of Stress Response. Maximum activity (organism is fighting with stressor), high blood pressure, body spend energy stores (sugars and fats), too much tension, overreached, overdone, excessive, do other think too much, vice too much (smoke too much, drink more coffee, drink more alcohol, sex). Bad orientation, feels pressured, tired, driven. Over-reacting, anxiety, memory loss, rude, worries or depression. Very vulnerable organism, weaken immune system and can get sickness very easy, coronary artery disease, heart attack, and heart failure, peptic ulcer disease, ulcerative colitis. Eating disorders (too much, swallowing, without pleasure and fast?). Illness can became worse.

-3. Exhaustion stage of Stress Response. No normal function. Collapse of adaptive mechanisms. Organism can not fight. Body is exhausted, broken, tired out, supply emptied, reserve spent, done up, too weak, risk of heart disease, abnormal heartbeat (arrhythmia), blood clots, sleep problems, digestive problems, raise blood pressure, hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis),suppress the immune system, increase the risk of heart attack and stroke, obesity, speed up the aging process, risk of mental illness, personality changes, back pain, asthma, errors in judgment, problems during pregnancy, dizziness,... Stress can make illness worse.

-Mental breakdown (burnout). Exactly, breakdown (nervous or mental) is not in Official Medical Text Book, but we use it to describe an acute phase of a specific disorder that presents primarily with features of depression or anxiety.

-Chronic (long-term) stress. Person, first need to know that have chronic stress, and need to work with. Chronic stress is good place for every known and unknown illness and can have whatsoever symptoms.

             The Stress Effects on work

In the employees state of stress, there is some physical, mental and social health changes and direct effects on productive performance (quantity and quality of his work).
